Tastrees
Redefining ease and convenience in developing states through Food delivery.
The problem
In many Nigerian states, securing basic services remains an
uphill task. Tastrees is a solution tailored specifically
for the overlooked.
By addressing the challenge of food delivery while
simultaneously expanding vendors' businesses and creating
job opportunities for riders and local logistics partners.
Bridging the gap where bigger brands often overlook, a
catalyst for positive change in developing states.
Design Approach
Leveraging innovative technology to bridge gaps, analyzing
user and market research, comparing existing competitors and
creating design styles.
I prioritized user needs and adapting to local constraints,
through a series of user flows and wireframes, I designed a
user experience that was seamless, accessible, and created a
Tastrees experience that empowers people in developing
Nigerian states to enjoy the convenience of food delivery.
User Research & Findings
I embarked on a user research journey to delve into the lives of potential Tastrees users. Through interviews and hypothetical scenarios , we uncovered a strong desire for convenient food delivery solutions. However, we also identified key challenges.
Design & Product Goals
- Adopt a design thinking approach with a focus on inclusivity.
- Ensure transparency and convenience for every Tastrees experience.
- Explore and integrate features that provide ease of use for users.
- Expand vendors' businesses and create job opportunities for riders.
Target Audience
Tastrees sets its sights on residents in developing Nigerian states, a tech-savvy and busy population yearning for convenient and diverse food options. This expansion not only benefits users but also unlocks new business opportunities for local restaurants and creates jobs for delivery riders, fostering economic growth within these communities.
High Fidelity Wireframes
With the high-fidelity wireframes, I designed the Tastrees app experience, prioritizing user needs and laying the groundwork for a successful launch.
Email Templates & Store Preview Designs
Building a seamless user experience extends beyond the app itself. To foster clear and engaging communication, I designed a suite of customizable email templates and also preview designs for Tastrees App.
Website
To build a community and excitement for Tastrees' launch, we created a two-pronged web presence: Waitlist Website:
User App
This prototype showcases the user experience of the Tastrees app, designed with convenience and accessibility at its core. Explore the intuitive interface, browse menus, and discover how the app empowers users to enjoy a wider world of food delivery.
Vendor App
Alongside the user app, I designed a dedicated vendor app for Tastrees. This empowers restaurants to seamlessly integrate with Tastrees, optimizing their operations and maximizing their reach, vendors can efficiently manage their presence on the platform with features like Order Management, Menu Updates & Performance Insights
Rider App
I also designed a complementary rider app. This companion app prioritizes clear communication, efficient navigation, and a user-friendly interface for our delivery partners.
